About The Team
The Tokorozawa Outlaws is a privately owned club team and is a member of the Japan Football Federation (JPFF). The Team was established in 1977 and currently has about 40 members each year. The team welcomes all players regardless of age or ability and focuses on developing players, teaching fundamentals and focusing on proper technique.
The Season
The Season begins in February with Team Meetings, training sessions, and general technique items being covered until the end of March. In April, full squad practices begin with one on one and combination scrimmages. Each week is a level up until we begin the fall league, generally about the last week of August. The regular season lasts until December with the playoffs occurring from December to February.
Practice Location
Practices are held at Kokukoen in Tokorozawa each Sunday from 10 am until 2 or 3 pm. Practices start promptly at 10:30 am with the expectation that all members of the team have arrived and changed into their practice gear by this time.
Registration Dates
The team registration for the fall 2012 season closes on 1 August 2012. The trade date registration closes on September 22nd 2012. Members who have not paid their registration fees by these dates will not be registered with the league to play during the following time frame.
Team Fees
Team membership is 22,000 JPY (includes club fee and registration) and Uniforms are 31,500 JPY. The club fees and registration fees include insurance, medical taping, and replacement parts for helmets, provided by the team on an on-need basis during the course of practices and games. Taping and medical care for all games is performed by JPFF medical staff. Although the team carries insurance paid for by part of membership fees, it is highly recommended that all players maintain their own medical coverage for emergency needs.
Equipment
In some cases equipment can be loaned by the team for prospective players. All equipment loans are based on availability and sizing. If loan equipment is not available, you will need to provide your own in order to participate in practices and games.
TV Broadcasts
All Tokorozawa Outlaws games are broadcast live as they happen on JPFF TV. Games are recorded, and made available to all players on DVD on a per request basis. Your friends and family can catch you on the JPFF TV channel live during the games. During off hours, replays of past games are available on demand.
